Simon Withington is a freelance television producer who has produced many high-profile shows for the likes of ITV, Thames Television, Objective Productions and U.S networks NBC and TLC.

In 2013 Simon became executive producer of the world's longest running out-take show It'll Be Alright on the Night for ITV. In this role, he also developed and pitched various other shows including World Cup Epic Fails hosted by Angus Deayton which ranked in the Top 5 highest rated programmes the day it was aired in May 2014. In 2017 Simon and his team at Crackit Productions won the Focal International Award for Best Use of Footage in an Entertainment Programme for When Magic Goes Horribly Wrong.

Simon has worked on the Uk's Top Formats, including The Only Way Is Essex, Britain's Got Talent, Come Dine With Me and travelled to China to oversee titles including Surprise Surprise and The X Factor.

One of the highlights of his career so far was producing William & Kate: The Royal Wedding for U.S TV network TLC. The 4 hour live broadcast aired worldwide to an audience of over 22 million viewers. Often working with top presenters, managing budgets and a team of researchers, Simon's television background has covered both shiny floor Entertainment & Factual Entertainment programming. As a Self-Shooting Producer/Director and Editor, Simon has produced hundreds of hours of online content for the likes of OK!, Express and U.S website Bitesize TV.
